What exactly makes a site secure and trustworthy in your opinion? What should a site have that makes it trustworthy in your eyes?

Hi Jonzz,

Here is a summary of the process we go through before adding any platform to the Safe Forex Trading list:

  • Check to see if it is regulated by a recognized authority
  • Read over the Terms and Conditions to make sure they are fair
  • Perform testing of the platform in demo mode, including user experience and customer support
  • Deposit funds on to the platform and make at least one successful withdrawal
  • Start referring members of our 'top traders list' to the platform
  • If there are no complaints after 4 to 6 months, we will determine that the platform is safe to trade with

Definitely important to check if there were no complains in the last 6 months or so. That does make a site trustworthy in my opinion.

Sorry but I notice that vantage fx isn't regulated by asic but CIMA. Is this regulator reliable?

Mariola, this is a recent change they've made for non-Australia clients. I don't know of CIMA, so will have to wait and see. We haven't had any negative feedback on VantageFX over the 2+ years they have been listed.
